Senator Levin's Grand Rapids regional office, located in downtown Grand Rapids, serves all of west and southwest Michigan from Benton Harbor to Ludington, including the cities of Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, and Holland. The office assists constituents and communities in addressing issues involving the federal government.

The Grand Rapids region has a wide array of manufacturers and businesses as well as an extensive agriculture industry with diverse crops. It is home to numerous colleges and universities, major museums and attractions, the Huron-Manistee National Forest, the cereal capital of the world, a key furniture industry, and major health care systems.

Senator Levin has fought to clean up toxic hot spots on Michigan's shorelines and has introduced legislation that would offer substantial funding to improve the health of our Great Lakes. He has worked to help West Michigan's office furniture industry overcome an unfair disadvantage in competing for federal contracts with Federal Prison Industries. He helped win funding for apple growers when their crops were devastated by fireblight and continues to work for assistance for Michigan's specialty crop farmers whenever disasters occur. Senator Levin has helped to expand the availability of loans and technical assistance to small businesses, and he has supported grants for local fire departments to enhance their emergency response capabilities and improve the abilities of our first responders to ensure safety within their communities.
