Senator Levin's regional office in Warren serves Oakland, Macomb and St. Clair counties, a diverse area made up of commercial districts as well as rural and agricultural areas. The office, located amid business and tech centers in the heart of Warren, provides assistance to constituents and communities on issues involving the federal government.

The region is home to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, a busy and diverse military installation dedicated primarily to the training of the Air National Guard and reserve components of the military services, which is unique in the fact that units from all five of the military services are located on the base. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), headquartered in Warren, is one of the U.S. Army's largest research, development and acquisition organizations and plays a leading role in transforming the Army of today into a lighter, more effective and more survivable force for the future.

Senator Levin has won funding for manufacturing centers and research facilities in the Oakland/Macomb region that contribute to the readiness of our fighting forces. His efforts include securing funding for the Automotive Research Center run by the U.S. Army TACOM National Automotive Center (NAC) that enables the NAC to grow and sustain an eight-university research consortium headquartered at the University of Michigan. Senator Levin has also supported infrastructure improvements and development efforts in urban areas, including the George Kuhn Twelve Towns Drain project, sewer system improvement in Port Huron, and neighborhood revitalization in Pontiac. Senator Levin has also won funding to clean up our waterways and has supported efforts to restore and preserve the health of Lake St. Clair and the Great Lakes.
