Levin Statement on Senate Plan to Consider Auto Legislation on Monday |
|
WASHINGTON – Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., said the following today after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced plans for the Senate to take up legislation to support U.S. automakers on Monday, November 14: “I am pleased that Senator Reid is proceeding with a bill to provide support for the auto industry because of its unique role in the American economy. If the administration is serious about wanting to help the industry bridge the economic chasm we are facing, then I am confident that a way can be found to provide this support.” |
